A charged life

When you are fully charged, you get more done, you have better interactions, your mind is sharp.

Create positivity

Interactions are about creating far more positive moments than negative moments.

Happiness and meaningfulness

Happiness and meaningfulness are two distinct human conditions. People leading meaningful lives get joy from giving to others.

Finding meaning

Meaning is doing something that benefits another person

Meaning does not happen to you, you create it.

Collective power

The concept of bringing people together is based on the premise that collectively human beings can do more than individually.

Money versus satisfaction

Working primarily for money is little more than a modern day form of bribery!

People who wrap their identity in their salaries rarely find satisfaction in their work.

Motivation through collective good

Whenever possible, get your motivation from doing things that contribute to a collective good.

Interests, needs and strengths

There are three things to think about: interests is what you want to do, needs is about others and the world and strengths are what you are good at.

How you lose opportunities to create meaning

If every day you let something keep you from following your dream, then you are losing an opportunity to create meaning

Are you an ‘initiator’ or a ‘reactor’?

In this age of infinite information and endless distraction, it is easy to spend a day reacting to what is thrown at you. A key differentiator is what you initiate every day.

Put purpose before busyness

On average, people spend half their time thinking about things other than what they are doing.

A recipe for unhappiness

The human mind is a wandering mind and a wandering mind is an unhappy mind

The power of positive interactions

All relationships are formed through a series of interactions.

We need three to five positive interactions to overcome one negative one.

Staying active energizes

Being active throughout the day is the key to staying energized. Walk around every hour, talk and get back to your routine.

Work and life

Does the work you do improve your life?

Is there a field trip that you and your team can take to see the effects of your work directly?

Money as a motivator?

When does money motivate you in a good way? When does it steer you in the wrong direction?

Sincere feedback

Your feedback must always be sincere.

Who can you recognize with great sincerity and detail next?
